Our outdoor furniture is hand crafted in the US of a High Density Polyethylene (poly), a recycled plastic.  Poly outdoor furniture is essentially maintenance free. It is resistant to moisture, fading, insects, splinting, or warping and will not require painting or waterproofing but just an occasional washing with soap and water.
